Launch of Keppel South Central in the heart of Singapore’s CBD

Tanjong Pagar is set to have a new green icon.

Keppel South Central, an all-new 33-storey commercial tower at the former site of Keppel Towers, was launched in May 2023. Located in Tanjong Pagar and at the gateway to the Greater Southern Waterfront, Keppel South Central will offer about 650,000 square feet of technology-forward spaces – comprising Grade A offices, flexible workspaces, retail and event spaces as well as a diverse range of indoor and outdoor amenities, including a social kitchen.

Mr Louis Lim, CEO, Real Estate Division of Keppel, said, “We are excited to launch Keppel South Central, a next-generation smart and super low energy building designed for the talents of tomorrow. With its innovative, flexible and customer-centric urban space solutions, including round-the-clock facilities, Keppel South Central will enable people to work anywhere, anytime, in the way that they want, paving the way as the workplace of the future.”

Slated for completion in 4Q 2024, Keppel South Central is designed as a vertical park, with workspaces built in, and will feature a mix of alternative workspaces and amenities that seamlessly connect indoor and outdoor spaces. The building will be 5G-enabled and fitted with leading-edge technologies, including facial recognition access, as well as smart lighting and micro-zoned air conditioning systems in designated areas that cater for 24/7 business operations. This will allow tenants the flexibility of managing their working hours to suit their lifestyles.

The building is a recipient of the BCA Green Mark Platinum Super Low Energy Award for its myriad innovative and green features. These include a high-performance facade system that will significantly reduce the amount of solar heat gain in the building, smart building management systems, rainwater harvesting systems, as well as the use of renewable energy.
