Keppel Land Live recently sat down with Ms Christina Caredes, Group Chief Executive Officer of Space Furniture, to find out more about this exclusive partnership and the work Space has done for Corals at Keppel Bay.
Thank you for chatting with us, Christina. The private shopping experience sounds wonderful. Why did you decide to offer it, and what advice do you have for the homeowners at Corals at Keppel Bay?
Christina: We established By Appointment, as an extension of our services to preferred clients and to continue to be a leader in our industry. We appreciate that our clients have different needs. Some prefer to shop with discretion; others need the flexibility of after-hours consultations, or simply prefer a completely bespoke shopping experience. No matter their reasons, By Appointment is designed to create an effortless experience for our clients.
Corals homeowners will be one of the first in the region to enjoy this new level of service. Highly-skilled Space design consultants will help residents select from our extensive collection of the world’s best design brands. As a long-time partner of Corals, we have an intimate understanding of the development and its interiors. We also offer qualified advice on which furniture pieces will best suit the apartments, and will work closely with clients to tailor collections that best complement their lifestyles. .
The built-in furniture at Corals at Keppel Bay is pretty special too. Can you tell us more about how the Poliform wardrobes and Varenna kitchens were tailor-made for the homes?
Christina: The collaboration between Corals and Space has resulted in one of the most exclusive offerings for interiors seen in this market.
Each Corals apartment features Poliform wardrobes and a Varenna kitchen and it is in the finer details that you’ll truly appreciate the level of design consideration for this project. For example, the wardrobes are cleverly conceived with purposefully built-in and concealed de-humidifiers, which will help protect the homeowners’ handbags, clothes and valuables from heat and moisture in the air.
Small touches, such as the refined engraving of Corals branding on the leather drawer handles, also demonstrate the level of exclusivity for this project.
In the kitchen, the high-gloss acrylic finishing is exclusive only to Corals; other customers will not be able to order this finishing as it is not on the Varenna catalogue. This is bespoke design at its best.
Another feature of the Varenna kitchens for the Corals project is the customised Poliform dining table, which extends from the kitchen to create a dining peninsula with a small bookcase at the end. This custom-made product integrates seamlessly with the kitchen and maximises homeowners maximum flexibility in space use. The compact bookcase can also be moved, revealing extra seating space should more guests need to be entertained.
Taking a step back, why did Space decide to work with Poliform and Varenna for Corals at Keppel Bay? What can homeowners expect from the brand?
Christina: Poliform and its sister kitchen brand Varenna have a long heritage of design excellence and innovation in technology. Both brands embody the best of Italian design, underpinned by an uncompromising commitment to quality.
