The M&A (Mergers and Acquisitions) Forum themed “A Blossoming Market,” hosted by Vietnam Investment Review under the Ministry of Planning and Investment on November 27, welcomed nearly 500 participants. Attendees included representatives from the Ministry of Planning and Investment, investors, and domestic and international businesses across various industries such as real estate, consulting, finance, securities, and more.
At the event, Mr Lee Leong Seng, Head of Property Development/Residential, Real Estate (Vietnam), Keppel Ltd., joined the panel discussion “M&A market outlook: key movements from the macro landscape & international capital flows” to share insights on global real estate M&A trends and opportunities in Vietnam’s real estate market.
Highlighting Vietnam’s advantages, Mr Lee Leong Seng said, “Vietnam, with its rapidly growing economy and young population, is a promising destination for many international investment funds. This is the right time for global companies to collaborate with local businesses to develop top-tier real estate products."
In the merger and acquisition (M&A) market, Keppel has established effective partnerships with local partners. The 16th edition of the Vietnam M&A Forum delved into emerging opportunities powered by rising international capital flows, government incentives, attractive enterprise valuations, and rapid growth in potential sectors such as real estate, retail, technology, renewable energy, financial services, and logistics.
